Abogada Karen G Pedraza

I have over 7 years of experience helping individuals and families navigate the immigration process.  As a daughter of Mexican immigrants, I know how difficult it can be and I know how important it is to have a trusted attorney by your side. I speak English and Spanish but can also help folks in other languages.

I received my Bachelor of Arts in History from Saint Mary’s College of California and my J.D. from UC Davis School of Law.

I have experience representing detained and non-detained immigrants before the Executive Office of Immigration Review in Sacramento, San Francisco, and Van Nuys. I also represented children at USCIS and EOIR.

As a law student in the UC Davis Immigration Law Clinic, I worked with the UC Davis Immigration Law Clinic and enforced children’s rights under the Flores Settlement Agreement and Lucas R. v. Azar.  As one of the few and fluent Spanish speakers, I interviewed children regarding living conditions, access to legal services, and medical conditions in four detention centers all over the United States.

In my free time, I enjoy dancing Mexican Ballet Folklorico, going on bike rides with my spouse, and walking my dog Osito.
